Russia will have 10 Deputy Prime Ministers in the new term
(Baonghean.vn) - Prime Minister Medvedev added that the number of Deputy Prime Ministers in the new government will be determined in accordance with the Presidential Decree. Accordingly, instead of having 9 Deputy Prime Ministers, the number will increase to 10. Of which, the Minister of Finance will assume the position of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.
President Vladimir Putin has approved the structure of the new government. Accordingly, in order to maintain optimal stability, the new apparatus organization will not have many unexpected changes.

During a meeting with President Putin in Sochi, presenting the draft of the new government apparatus, explaining the "absence" of fundamental changes, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that "the government's operating structure in recent times has proven its effectiveness", helping the country develop and cope with emerging problems. However, Mr. Medvedev still made important proposals to optimize the current system of executive agencies.
Changes in the organizational structure include: dividing the Ministry of Education and Science into the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science & Higher Education; renaming the Ministry of Communications to the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Public Relations; transferring the commercial tasks of the Ministry of Economic Development to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
These proposals of Prime Minister Medvedev have been approved by the Russian President. At the same time, Mr. Medvedev added that the proposal on the personnel of the new government term will be ready to be submitted to the President on May 18.

Mr. Medvedev also affirmed that Russia will have a new personnel policy that promotes the capacity of officials and supports young personnel.
Speaking with Prime Minister Medvedev, Russian President Putin stressed that the key task in the next few years is to sustainably increase the real income of the population. Therefore, the work of the new government must overcome the recession, ensuring recovery and development in many economic sectors. Overall, the Russian economy is on a growth trajectory.
