Currently in the Navy the only submarine of project 941U is Dmitry Donskoy. This ship has previously tested launching Bulava ballistic missiles.

"A decision has been made to dispose of the Severstal and Arkhangelsk submarines, as it is unprofitable to continue operating them. The two ships have been removed from the Russian Navy's combat fleet and will be disposed of after 2020," the source told Sputnik.

Project 941 nuclear submarine is the world's largest nuclear-powered submarine, with a full displacement of 49,800 tons, a length of 172 meters, and a width of 23.3 meters.
