The delegation visited Chau Thon Primary School (Que Phong), My Ly 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Ky Son), Chau Khe 1 Primary School (Con Cuong) and Luu Kien Secondary School (Tuong Duong).
These are all schools located in extremely difficult areas with the vast majority of students being ethnic minorities, and the percentage of students from poor households is over 50%.

Overcoming difficulties in travel conditions, facilities and the epidemic, in the past year, teachers have made efforts to organize teaching and learning well, maintain online teaching and ensure the mobilization of students to school through the boarding school model.

Besides, we also shared, thanked and expressed gratitude to teachers, especially those who lived in remote areas, who did not mind the difficulties and sacrificed their family circumstances to stay with their students in the highlands, and were extremely dedicated and devoted to their beloved students.
Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh also said that currently, compared to other regions in the province, the economic, social and teaching conditions of mountainous districts are still difficult and disadvantaged. Therefore, in recent years, the province and the Department have always paid attention and given priority to education in mountainous areas.

Recently, the National Assembly also passed Decision No. 88 approving the overall project for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period, including approving many projects to build infrastructure for mountainous districts, especially ethnic minority primary and secondary schools.
On the basis of implementing this Decision, the Education sector will build many high-quality boarding school models to create the most favorable environment for students in mountainous areas to access advanced teaching programs, in accordance with the spirit of innovation in education and training, aiming to train generations of students who develop comprehensively in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics.

On this occasion, the delegation of the Department of Education and Training also presented 360 gifts with a total value of 240 million VND and 60 cartons of milk.
