Printing and ensuring the safety of exam papers are given special attention.

This year, the whole country has 866,007 candidates taking the exam, a slight decrease compared to last year. Dong Nai province alone has increased by about 2,000 candidates, of which 26% of candidates are taking the exam only for graduation. A representative of Dong Nai Provincial Police said that they have worked with functional units on escorting and transporting exam papers from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai, and ensuring security at 48 exam sites. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: "We will continue to train officials on exam supervision, security, and printing of exam papers in the coming time."

Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that Dong Nai is the province with the second largest number of candidates taking the exam in the region. Therefore, the transportation and printing of exam papers is extremely important, just a small mistake in ensuring security and safety of exam papers will cause huge consequences. Therefore, he requested Dong Nai Provincial Police to be extremely careful in this matter, avoiding subjectivity.

In Binh Duong province, although the provincial leaders said that preparations had been completed, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia still noted that this year, candidates will be free to take the exam based on the test papers, not the subjects. Therefore, the work of invigilation, printing, and delivery of exam papers needs to be noted by the Department of Education and Training of Binh Duong province to avoid mistakes.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Ga said that on June 10, the Ministry will deliver exam papers for all subjects to localities. The reserve exam papers will be delivered on June 17. Localities will have one week to prepare for printing. Therefore, training and preparation for printing need to be given special attention by localities.

“This year, with this testing method, the number of test papers will increase, and the printing and copying of test papers will be more difficult. Therefore, the Ministry has recently announced the reference test papers so that departments know the amount of paper, ink, etc., thereby making careful preparations. The Ministry has also provided instructions on the steps for printing and copying, and provinces only need to do it correctly to avoid mistakes. Regarding the transportation of test papers in some remote and difficult localities, via ferries, the Ministry has also reminded localities to be careful, and the police need to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training from the time of printing and copying to the time of transporting the papers to the testing sites,” said Deputy Minister Bui Van Ga.
