Nghe An: 32 projects participate in the contest 'Startup ideas for vocational education students'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 19, at Nghe An College of Culture and Arts, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs launched the Contest "Startup ideas for vocational education students" - Startup Kite Nghe An province in 2022.

Attending the opening ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Doan Hong Vu - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of the Departments of Education and Training, Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism, the Provincial Youth Union and educational institutions in the province. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Ms. Ho Thi Chau Loan - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs affirmed: The Startup Idea Contest is an effective activity in exploring the potential of students, creating an open playground for creative startups; applying knowledge and skills equipped in school to life.

At the same time, connect highly feasible projects with investors; help young people accumulate more experience and necessary skills on the path of choosing a career and contribute to changing social awareness about vocational training and entrepreneurship, while meeting the requirements of high vocational skills, adapting to changes in science, technology and employment.

After more than 6 months of launching the grassroots competition, 82 projects of 246 students from 12 vocational training institutions participated. On that basis, 32 outstanding and typical projects from 6 units were selected to participate in the provincial competition.

This is the first time the competition has taken place at the provincial level and also the first time it has been organized both in person and online. Through the competition, the Organizing Committee will select outstanding projects to participate in the 2022 National Startup Kite Competition taking place in Ho Chi Minh City in the near future.
