On October 29, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Nghe An Provincial Police, summoned 3 cases of postingfalse informationabout the increase in gasoline prices.

Previously, on October 28, on the social network Facebook, many personal accounts posted and shared articles related to the increase in gasoline prices with the content: "Official: Gasoline prices increased to 29,500,000 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, a record high", causing panic among people, rushing to buy gasoline, potentially affecting security and order.

Immediately afterwards, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Nghe An Provincial Police organized verification and clarified the identities of the violators.
As of 3:00 p.m. on October 29, 2021, we have worked with 03 cases of posting false information related to high gasoline prices.
At the meeting, the above cases were aware of their illegal acts, voluntarily removed their posts and pledged not to re-offend. The Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention continues to consolidate the records to handle them according to the provisions of the law.
