Nghe An: Caught a king cobra over 3m long
(Baonghean.vn) - A group of workers working on a hydroelectric project in Ky Son district caught a king cobra measuring more than 3 meters long and weighing 5.2 kg.
Accordingly, at around 5:00 p.m. on June 20, a group of workers at the Ca Nan hydropower plant in Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, after finishing work, discovered a king cobra slithering down from the mountain to the workers' camp.

Seeing that, everyone organized to capture. The snake was more than 3m long, weighing 5.2kg. It is known that king cobras are distributed mainly in tropical forests, stretching from India to Southeast Asia. This is the longest venomous snake in the world, however, this snake does not actively attack humans.
In Vietnam, king cobra is listed in the Red Book as a protected species, extremely rare, and in danger of extinction./.
