Nghe An: 680 tiger claws seized in Dien Chau
(Baonghean.vn)- At 1:00 p.m. on May 10, Team 2 of PC 49 Department of Environmental Police (Nghe An Provincial Police) successfully broke up Project 125L of trading and transporting rare wild animals.
Through inspection, the authorities discovered and caught red-handed at the house of Mr. Cao Xuan Vo, born in 1990, residing in Hamlet 3 Nam Lam, Dien Lam Commune, Dien Chau, trading, storing, and keeping a number of animal toenails (suspected to be tiger toenails).

Team 2 of PC49 Department of Nghe An Provincial Police's Environmental Police force coordinated with Dien Chau District Police and Dien Lam Commune Police to specifically inspect the above mentioned animal toenails.

Through counting the seized evidence, it included 680 tiger claws of various types, equivalent to 34 tigers killed. Through initial investigation, the subject confessed to having purchased the above claws in Laos.
Currently, the above evidence has been brought to the Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Police, sealed and awaiting appraisal.
