Nghe An: New Covid-19 infected case works in business, delivers goods to many places

(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, local authorities have identified 60 F1s of the patient and are continuing to trace them.

On the morning of November 3, Nghe An recorded 10new COVID-19 cases, including 1 community case in Quynh Tan commune, Quynh Luu district.

After receiving the test results, Quynh Tan commune locked down 71 households in hamlet 3 with about 250 people. The locality also sprayed disinfectants and took samples for testing from people in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Chairman of Quynh Tan Commune People's Committee said: "This patient has a very complicated epidemiological history. The patient works in the animal feed business in the area, customers in addition to local people also include many people from other districts. The patient also regularly ships goods to livestock households and farms...".

Currently, Quynh Tan commune has identified 60 F1s of this patient and the number of F1s is expected to increase as forces continue to trace.

For quarantine work, Quynh Tan commune has selected 9 quarantine points, including schools and cultural houses in hamlets in the area.

1. Patient NVS, male, born in 1990. Address: Hamlet 3, Quynh Tan Commune, Quynh Luu District. On November 2, the patient had symptoms of a runny nose and went to Quynh Tan Medical Station for examination. Here, the patient's sample was taken for a rapid test with a positive result, then the patient's sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the morning of November 3, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
