Nghe An: Court official of Ky Son district was arrested

(Baonghean.vn) - Colonel Bui Nguyen Tien - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Police confirmed to Nghe An Newspaper reporter that the police agency has just arrested Mr. Kha Van Thanh, an officer of the People's Court of Ky Son district, for accepting bribes.

According to Colonel Bui Nguyen Tien, the arrest of Mr. Kha Van Thanh was carried out by the Ky Son District Police on July 25. The reason for the arrest was because he was taking bribes. The amount of money Mr. Thanh received in bribes when he was arrested, as well as the person who gave the bribe, has not been specifically answered by Mr. Tien.

Talking over the phone with Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Chief of Office of Nghe An Provincial People's Court about the above incident, Mr. Cuong said that he currently does not have the information so he cannot answer.

According to a source from Nghe An Newspaper reporter, Mr. Kha Van Thanh is currently being detained at the Provincial Police Detention Center to serve the investigation.
