Nghe An: Cutting off the bodies of overloaded vehicles running on National Highway 46
(Baonghean.vn) - During the patrol and traffic control of the functional forces, they discovered a truck carrying construction materials with an extended bed and full load on National Highway 46. Nghe An traffic inspectors traced the origin of the vehicle and forced it to cut the bed according to regulations.

After discovering and tracing the origin of the vehicle, from the morning of February 25 until now, the Department of Transport Inspectorate has requestedTwo enterprises Thao Do and Hoang Minh brought 6 trucks to the auto repair shop located on National Highway (QL) 46B, through Hung Nguyen district to cut off the expanded cargo container. Including, Thao Do Company Limited has 4 trucks with license plates: 37C - 214.91; 37C- 236.67; 37C - 168.25; 37C - 278.56 and 2 trucks of Hoang Minh Company 37C - 138.08; 37C - 150.73.
It is known that 6 vehicles were required to cut the truck bed and were discovered by the inspection force to have their bed extended and carry oversized cargo on National Highway 46, National Highway 46B, provincial roads, and district roads in Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, and Vinh City.

The vehicles that were required to have their bodies cut were all 4-axle trucks made in China. The height of the body according to the vehicle registration was only 85cm, all of which were extended with large iron plates, welded to an additional height of 30 - 70cm. The Nghe An Department of Transport Inspectorate directly used a ruler to measure the size of each vehicle body, compared it with the inspection book to determine the extended body part, and then supervised the cutting of the body.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Thang - Chief Inspector of Nghe An Department of Transport said: This morning, February 26, we continued to request some transport enterprises of Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan to bring 10 more violating trucks to the workshop to cut into boxes according to regulations. The traffic inspection force is coordinating with related sectors to inspect routes QL 48, QL 7, QL 15... If any extended vehicles are discovered, they will be traced back to the origin and required to cut into boxes according to regulations of the law.
