(Baonghean.vn) - The corrective directive was issued immediately after incidents of violence among schoolchildren occurred in the province.
The Director of the Department of Education and Training has just issued Official Letter No. 618/SGD&ĐT - CTTT dated April 7th on strengthening measures to prevent and combat abuse.school violenceAccidents, injuries, and drowning incidents involving children and students in educational institutions.
Previously, the Department of Education and Training had issued numerous directives to implement measures to prevent and combat school abuse and violence, prevent accidents, injuries, and drowning, and ensure traffic safety in educational institutions throughout the province. In general, the units have seriously implemented these measures.

However, recently in the districts of Anh Son, Yen Thanh, Tan Ky, Ky Son, Quynh Luu, etc., there have been accidents involving injuries, drownings, and school violence, resulting in many students and children being injured or killed, causing heavy losses in terms of spirit and material resources for students, families, schools, and society.
To ensure school security and the safety of children and students (collectively referred to as students), the Director of the Department requests that the Heads of the Education and Training Departments and the Heads of educational institutions throughout the province thoroughly understand and effectively implement the directives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Department of Education and Training regarding the prevention of accidents, injuries, drowning, school abuse, and violence, as well as ensuring traffic safety and school security.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision of the plan's implementation to ensure the security and safety of students, staff, teachers, and employees in educational institutions.
The Director of the Department also requested that schools seriously implement the code of conduct; strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the Security Committee, the Psychological Counseling Team, and other organizations to detect conflicts among students early in order to provide timely counseling, prevention, and intervention, preventing violent incidents inside and outside the school against students.

In particular, strengthen political and ideological education, as well as moral and lifestyle education for students through the online environment; instruct and remind students not to upload videos or clips that may affect the security and safety of the school; put an end to the situation where students develop conflicts online leading to school violence...
In case of violations, the Department of Education and Training will lower the ranking or withhold consideration for emulation awards from the Education and Training Departments and affiliated units that do not seriously implement the regulations, resulting in numerous accidents, injuries, drownings, school violence, or child abuse incidents.
From the beginning of April until now, in a very short period of time, there have been two incidents of school violence involving students from different schools in Tan Ky and Nghia Dan districts. These incidents were then posted on social media, causing anxiety and negatively impacting the school environment. At the end of March, another incident of school violence occurred within a school in Con Cuong district.
