(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 122/UBND-NC dated January 6, 2017 requesting to grasp the situation and report on the giving and receiving of gifts that are not in accordance with regulations during the Dinh Dau New Year 2017:

Implementing the direction of the Government Inspectorate in Official Dispatch No. 3424/TTCP-C.IV dated December 27, 2016, requesting provincial departments, branches, organizations, and unions; People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to implement and direct agencies, organizations, and units within their management scope to strictly implement Directive No. 11-CT/TW dated December 21, 2016 of the Secretariat, which requires: "Implement the policy of strictly prohibiting Tet gifts to superiors in all forms... Strengthen inspection, promptly prevent negative manifestations and strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the use of budget, means, and public assets against regulations for activities during Tet and festivals..."; Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated December 17, 2016 of the Prime Minister on strengthening management and operation to stabilize market prices, ensure social order and safety during the Lunar New Year 2017; Decision No. 64/QD-TTg dated May 10, 2007 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Regulation on gift giving and receiving of gifts by agencies, organizations and units using the state budget and by cadres, civil servants and public employees. At the same time, monitor, grasp the situation, detect, handle and report cases of using public assets in violation of regulations, waste, giving and receiving gifts in violation of regulations during the Lunar New Year 2017.

Report results to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Provincial Inspectorate) before February 3, 2017; Assign the Provincial Inspectorate to synthesize reports to the Government Inspectorate and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee before February 6, 2017.
