(Baonghean.vn) - Clinics are allowed to reopen but must comply with epidemic prevention regulations.

On September 13, the Nghe An Department of Health issued a document allowing non-public general and specialized clinics to resume operations. The start time is 2:00 p.m. on September 13.

Nghe An Department of Health requires clinics to strictly implement current regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, to prevent infection of medical staff and spread of the disease to the community.

In a related development, on the evening of September 12, the Vinh City People's Committee issued a plan to adjust epidemic prevention and control measures in the area after switching to social distancing according to Directive 15. This includes a plan to prevent and control the epidemic at medical facilities.

According to this plan, clinics and hospitals must develop plans according to the criteria issued by the Ministry of Health. Periodic assessments must be organized at least once a month for hospitals according to the "Set of criteria for hospitals that are safe for preventing and fighting Covid-19 and acute respiratory infections" in Decision No. 3088/QD-BYT dated July 16, 2020 of the Ministry of Health; for general and specialized clinics, ward and commune health stations, assessments must be made according to the set of criteria specified in Decision No. 4999/QD-BYT dated December 1, 2021 of the Ministry of Health. Report the results of self-assessment to the City People's Committee (via the Department of Health, gmail:[email protected]).

Publicly post hotline phone numbers and customer service departments so that patients and their families can make appointments by phone or resolve problems, limiting large gatherings at medical facilities.

Arrange a temporary isolation room for suspected cases (prepare adequate epidemic prevention and control supplies in the temporary isolation room). For establishments that are pharmacies, drug stores, and drug dealers, strictly implement regulations on epidemic prevention and control. Requirements: Arrange a medical declaration table, buyers must make mandatory medical declarations, and report daily to the health station and local authorities when buyers have symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing... Suspend operations for establishments that do not strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures.

Periodically test every 3 days using Rapid Antigen Test to detect Covid-19 early or every 7 days using RT-PCR technique for officers, employees, workers, facility owners, patients and patients' relatives.(Not applicable to people who have had 2 doses and the 2nd dose has been 14 days since the last dose).

Vinh City People's Committee assigned the city's health center to preside over, coordinate with relevant units, guide, inspect and evaluate the implementation of the set of criteria for safe clinics at ward and commune health stations, ensuring that 100% of health stations complete self-assessment according to the set of criteria. Direct, inspect and supervise the maintenance of the assessment of the implementation of the set of criteria for safety in epidemic prevention and control at health stations.

The People's Committees of wards and communes are responsible for establishing inspection teams to evaluate the implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic at all business and service establishments including: medical examination and treatment, traditional medicine diagnosis, medical services, cosmetic services, etc. in the area. Regularly propagate and disseminate the contents and measures for home isolation on mass media. Implement the reporting regime according to regulations, promptly report, evaluate the implementation situation to have timely solutions.
