On the afternoon of February 5, the working delegation of Sin Industry and Tradeled by Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, inspected and surveyed the situation of goods supply and market prices for the 2021 Lunar New Year at supermarkets, markets, and warehouses in Vinh City. The delegation conducted a survey of Tet goods such as food, groceries, necessities... at 2 supermarkets, 1 market and 1 warehouse in the area.Vinh City.According to records, most goods are abundant, diverse, with abundant quantity, no shortage of goods, and stable prices.
Currently, people's purchasing power at supermarkets and markets has increased by about 15% compared to the same period last year. The number of buyers and sellers fluctuates over 20,000 people per day at the locations.

Especially, this year, near Tet, people shop earlier, the purchasing power of long-lasting frozen foods has increased, and the prices are also lower than previous years.
In contrast, high-end goods are consumed more slowly. This is understandable when people's incomes have been greatly affected in the past year due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
Understanding the fear of contact with crowded places, supermarkets and markets have promoted online sales and home delivery to ensure safety during the epidemic season.

At the survey, Mr. Cao Minh Tu - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade requested leaders of markets and supermarkets to proactively research the market, develop production plans, and reserve essential goods for people to shop for Tet with safe quality, reasonable prices, and ensure food hygiene and safety.
In addition, units need to strictly comply with epidemic prevention measures for employees as well as people participating in buying and selling goods during Tet, develop scenarios and plans to respond to epidemics because markets and supermarkets are crowded places, potentially dangerous in the community.epidemic season.
