With great determination and momentum, Nghe An has achieved and exceeded 27/27 main targets of the 2017 plan.

On December 5, 2017, in an interview with Nghe An Newspaper, Comrade Nguyen Van Do - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment said: According to data from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, as of November 31, 2017, Nghe An achieved and exceeded 27/27 planned targets (20 targets achieved, 7 targets exceeded). According to Comrade Nguyen Van Do, this is the highest index in the past 5 years.

Previously, at the meeting of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on November 23, 2017, according to the report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, national defense and security in 2017, the direction and tasks in 2018, Nghe An, the Provincial People's Committee estimated that Nghe An achieved 26/27 targets of the 2017 plan and this is also the best result in terms of socio-economy in the past 3 years.
