Nghe An: Proposal to reward 4 billion VND for district reaching model new rural area

Accordingly, support policies in constructionnew ruralin Nghe An province in the period 2021-2025 is expected to have the following contents:

*Applicable subjects:Districts, cities, towns (hereinafter referred to as district-level units); communes; villages and hamlets in mountainous region III communes and villages and hamlets in 27 border communes; households in Nghe An province; Relevant agencies, units, organizations and individuals.

*Support principles

Regarding cement: One-time support for localities that complete their tasks and meet new rural standards recognized by competent authorities.

Reward localities that complete tasks, meet new rural standards, and households with gardens that meet new rural standards.

*Cement support:

For district-level units: Completing tasks/meeting new rural standards: support 5,000 tons of PCB40 cement/unit. Completing tasks, meeting advanced new rural standards: support 7,000 tons of PCB40 cement/unit.

For communes: Communes meeting new rural standards in 10 mountainous districts, including: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong and Nghia Dan: support 2,800 tons of PCB40 cement/commune.

Communes in the remaining districts: Support 2,000 tons of PCB40 cement/commune.

- Communes meeting advanced new rural standards: Support 1,000 tons of PCB40 cement/commune.

For villages and hamlets in mountainous region III communes and villages and hamlets in 27 border communes: Support 150 tons of PCB40 cement/village (not supporting villages/hamlets in the above communes to register to meet new rural standards in the period 2021 - 2025).

* Bonus in new rural construction:

+For district level units:

- Towns that complete the task of building new rural areas: Reward 1.5 billion VND/town to build welfare works.

-District meets new rural standards: Reward 2 billion VND/district to build welfare works.

- District-level units that meet standards/complete the task of building advanced new rural areas: Reward 3 billion VND/unit to build welfare works.

- District-level units that meet standards/complete the task of building a model New Rural Area: Reward 4 billion VND/unit to build welfare works.

+For communes:

- Achieving New Rural standards: Reward 500 million VND/commune to build welfare works.

- Achieving advanced New Rural standards: Reward 600 million VND/commune to build welfare works.

- QualifiedModel new countryside: Reward 700 million VND/commune to build welfare works.

*Funding source:Guaranteed by the provincial budget. Estimated average per year is about 95.94billion VND, the whole period 2021-2025 is 479.7billion dong

At the recent regular meeting, the Provincial People's Committee listened to, commented on and approved the outline of these policies, and then submitted them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for comments as a basis for drafting a Resolution for the Provincial People's Council to consider and decide.
