Nghe An: Young couple postpone wedding to go into quarantine
(Baonghean.vn) - Although they had planned everything, the backdrop was set up, and the food was prepared, due to the unpredictable developments of the epidemic, a young couple in Thanh Chuong town who had just returned from Quang Ninh voluntarily postponed their wedding to go into quarantine.
That is the story of a young couple Doan Thi Mo (Block 1A, Thanh Chuong town, Thanh Chuong district), and Nguyen Khac Phuoc (Hai An, Hai Lang, Quang Tri), currently working at a school in Uong Bi city (Quang Ninh).
After the organizationwedding partyin Quang Ninh on January 18, 2021, on the evening of January 27, the couple got in the car to return to their hometown Thanh Chuong to hold a wedding party at the bride's house on January 29, then planned to move to Quang Tri to hold the wedding ceremony at the groom's house.

However, due toCovid-19 outbreakIn Quang Ninh and Hai Duong provinces, on January 28, 2021, although not subject to mandatory quarantine, to ensure community safety, with the encouragement of local authorities, the family agreed to postpone the ceremony, and the young couplevoluntarily quarantineat the health station.

Mr. Doan Cong Tuan, the bride's father, said: Although it is the important day of the two children, but because safety is paramount, the family has agreed with the plan proposed by the government, which is to postpone the wedding party to limit large gatherings, and at the same time, quarantine the two children at the medical station according to regulations. Mr. Tuan also said that the family planned to organize 50 banquets, the backdrop was set up, the restaurant was also prepared, but had to inform both sides of relatives and neighbors to sympathize.
At the quarantine area, Mo and Phuoc shared that this was the most memorable event of their lives. They both hoped that everything would be peaceful, so that after 14 days of quarantine, they could return home to celebrate Tet with their family and relatives.

Mr. Tuong Dang Hao - Chairman of Thanh Chuong Town People's Committee said: Given the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, although not subject to mandatory quarantine, thanks to good compliance and for the community, the family voluntarily postponed the wedding to enter the quarantine area. On the local government side, they will coordinate with health agencies to assign people to be on duty at the quarantine area, and will arrange daily meals, accommodation and health check-ups according to regulations.
While the epidemic is developing complicatedly, the number of people testing positive for the new strain of Covid-19 virus in Hai Duong, Quang Ninh and some northern provinces has increased dramatically, the Nghe An Department of Health has also issued an urgent notice about the situation related to new patients. Therefore, the voluntary quarantine of people when returning from areas at risk of the epidemic is a very welcome thing.
This morning (January 29), on the wedding day as scheduled, the leaders of Thanh Chuong town came to congratulate the couple, wishing them a happy and peaceful life, together with the local government and the whole country to defeat the pandemic, and to celebrate the Lunar New Year happily and peacefully.
