Nghe An: Nearly 1,186 tons of rice to support students in the second semester of the 2017-2018 school year
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a Decision (No. 638/QD-UBND dated February 12, 2018) approving the allocation of rice to support 19,766 students in the province in the second semester (4 months) of the 2017-2018 school year with a quantity of 1,185,960 kg.

Accordingly, the remaining rice in the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year is: 21,836 kg. The rice demand is (items 1-2): 1185,960 kg - 21,836 kg = 1164,124 kg (one thousand one hundred and sixty-four tons, one hundred and twenty-four kilograms), provided in two phases: Phase 1 is provided before March 15, 2018, the amount of rice is: 591,460 kg (five hundred and ninety-one tons, four hundred and sixty kilograms); Phase 2 is provided before April 30, 2018, the amount of rice is: 572,664 kg (five hundred and seventy-two tons, six hundred and sixty-four kilograms).
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested the Nghe Tinh State Reserve Department to organize the transportation and delivery of rice directly to the People's Committees of districts and towns that have a list to ensure quality, completeness and timeliness.

Assign the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Ethnic Committee, the People's Committees of relevant districts and towns to coordinate with the State Reserve Department of Nghe Tinh region to organize the reception and distribution of rice to schools in the area to ensure timeliness, convenience and cost savings in transportation. Direct and inspect the timely reception and distribution of rice to the right students.
Regarding the budget for warehousing, transportation, delivery, and support for students, it must comply with current regulations; People's Committees of districts and towns proactively allocate local budgets to transport rice for students, then synthesize the budget needs and send them to the Department of Finance for consultation and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for decision.
