Nghe An: Nearly 66,000 tons of aquatic products through the fishing port system
(Baonghean.vn) - In recent times, the system of fishing ports, fishing wharves, and storm shelters in Nghe An has been built and upgraded to effectively support the sustainable development of fisheries, participate in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and protecting aquatic resources.
In the first 10 months of 2020, through the fishing port system in Nghe An (Cua Hoi, Lach Van, Lach Quen, Quynh Phuong fishing ports), more than 8,300 fishing boats of fishermen docked with an output of nearly 66,000 tons of aquatic products.

Pursuant to Decision No. 27/QD.BNN.TCTS dated January 5, 2018 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Circular No. 21/2018/TT-BNNPTNT dated November 15, 2018 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on regulations on recording, submitting reports and logbooks of aquatic product exploitation; list of fishing vessels illegally exploiting aquatic products; confirmation of raw materials, certification of origin of exploited aquatic products, from the beginning of 2020 to present, Nghe An Port Management Board has monitored the output through the port of 4,967 tons and seized the logbooks of 16,171 trips./.
