Nghe An won 3 Gold Medals at the 2023 National Jujitsu Championship
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2023 National Jujitsu Championship takes place from September 7-10, with the participation of more than 300 athletes from 26 provinces, cities and industries across the country.
At this tournament, Nghe An Jujitsu team participated with 2 coaches and 8 athletes.
As of 2:00 p.m. on September 10, Nghe An athletes had completed the competition and won 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals.

Of which, 3 Gold Medals all belonged to athlete Nguyen Tat Loc in the No-gi, Fighting and Full contact categories.

Athletes Nguyen Van Son, Phan Tuan Anh and Le Thi Thuy Trang won Silver Medals. Athletes winning Bronze Medals were Ho Thi Hao (2 medals), Nguyen Ba Luc, Le Duc Thien, Tran Van Hiep and Phan Tuan Anh.
The 2023 National Jujitsu Championship will close late in the afternoon of September 10.
Jujitsu is a martial art that originated from the samurai class (Japan). It is a synthesis of the ultimate fighting arts of many traditional Japanese martial arts.
The characteristic of Jujitsu is that it specializes in using bare hands to defend oneself and against opponents with weapons or bare hands. Techniques in Jujitsu include: hitting, punching, kicking, tossing, throwing, locking legs, locking arms, locking necks, and choking. In addition, there are techniques to attack joints, break joints, and acupressure to control opponents.
In Vietnam, Jujitsu was introduced before 1945 but has only recently had the opportunity to develop. Currently, there are more than 20 provinces and cities nationwide developing this sport.
