Nghe An: Assigning tasks for the 2022 Defense and Civil Defense Area Exercise

Attending the conference were Colonel Pham Van Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Dinh Bat Van, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee; heads of the Staff, Political, Logistics, Technical departments, and leaders and commanders of the Military Commands of districts, towns, cities and units in the whole province.

In 2022, Nghe An province was assigned by the Military Region 4 Command to organize a provincial defense and civil defense exercise. Up to this point, preparations have been carried out synchronously in all agencies and units throughout the province.

The Provincial Military Command has proactively and actively done a good job of consulting and synchronously and comprehensively deploying all aspects of preparation work for thedefense zone exercise, provincial civil defense. Coordinate with local departments, branches and sectors to survey and agree on plans to adjust, supplement and complete the construction of items in the Exercise Command Center at all levels; Regularly follow the Military Region agencies to prepare documents; train, guide, approve the contents and scenarios of the exercise; Synthesize and estimate the facilities, forces, and technical means participating in the exercise; Survey and determine the locations for live-fire exercises and practice the live-fire contents close to the actual situation of the unit, build a system of trenches, fortifications, battlefields, prepare well weapons, technical equipment, materials, and training models to serve the exercise tasks.

At the meeting, after listening to reports from agencies and units on the progress and quality of preparations for the Provincial Defense and Civil Defense Area Exercise, the conference discussed and agreed on a number of contents.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, highly appreciated the preparations for the Provincial Defense and Civil Defense exercise of agencies and units. At the same time, he requested agencies and units to continue to coordinate with departments, branches and sectors at all levels to inspect and consolidate and fully complete the document system for the exercise; Urgently complete the items in the exercise command area, the positions for the live-fire exercise in accordance with regulations; Do a good job of coordination and cooperation with agencies and units of the Ministry and Military Region in the province to organize the practice of the live-fire exercise contents close to the actual situation of the locality. Step up propaganda work on the purpose and significance of the exercise; Ensure good logistics and technical work, especially ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons, technical equipment and ensuring health, food hygiene and safety for the forces participating in the exercise.
