(Baonghean.vn) - At 0:00 on April 23, in the area of ​​Muong Long and Huoi Tu communes (Ky Son), there was heavy rain (over 300mm) accompanied by whirlwinds, causing dozens of houses to collapse and have their roofs blown off.

The location with the most collapsed and unroofed houses is Huoi Le and Huoi Kha (Huoi Tu) villages with more than 40 houses.

It is known that this morning, the authorities of Huoi Tu commune have set up a working group to go to the villages that were damaged by hail and whirlwind last night. Mr. Vu Giong Dia - Chairman of the People's Committee of Huoi Tu commune said that the whirlwind did not cause any casualties, but the estimated damage was nearly 500 million VND.

Previously, on April 22, hail occurred in Ky Son.
