Nghe An: More than 18 billion VND registered to support people to overcome the consequences of floods
(Baonghean.vn) - According to a quick report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, as of 5:00 p.m. on October 10, 7,431 groups and individuals had registered to support relief work through the provincial Relief Committee, with a budget of more than 18.7 billion VND.

The provincial Fatherland Front has received more than 10.4 billion VND in funding, of which nearly 681 million VND was donated in cash, more than 7.7 billion VND was transferred, and more than 1.9 billion VND was given directly to the people. In addition, localities and units registered to donate more than 8.4 billion VND.

Since October 2, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has allocated 34.6 billion VND in emergency support for local people to overcome natural disasters.
In particular, on October 9-10, in addition to agencies, units, and philanthropists supporting Nghe An people to overcome floods, TH Group accompanied Nghe An Newspaper to visit and give gifts of TH Group products to 7 districts heavily affected by the recent floods, including: Hoang Mai Town, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen District. Each district was supported with 350 - 400 boxes of TH Group products (total value from 60 to 70 million VND)./.
