Nghe An: More than 2,100 vehicles were fined in 15 days
(Baonghean.vn) - The main violations that are punished are alcohol concentration violations, drug use, speeding, encroachment, illegal stopping and parking, and carrying more people than the prescribed number.
On July 15, Nghe An Provincial Police launched a peak period of general inspection of passenger cars, container trucks, and motorbikes, lasting from July 15 to August 14.
The peak period is divided into 2 phases, phase 1 from July 15 to July 29 and phase 2 from July 30 to August 14.

Accordingly, Nghe An Traffic Police have arranged vehicles and technical equipment on all road traffic routes, especially key national highways, to strengthen control, proactively prevent, detect and stop violations of traffic safety and order.
The behaviors that will be focused on inspection and strict handling are violations of alcohol concentration, drug use, speeding, encroachment, illegal stopping and parking, carrying more people than prescribed, and not wearing helmets.
During the first phase (from July 15 to 29), the provincial traffic police force organized 1,296 traffic control patrols with 4,704 officers and soldiers participating. Thereby, 3,748 vehicles were recorded and 2,112 vehicles were fined; including 478 passenger cars, 82 container trucks, and 2,864 motorbikes. The traffic police force detained 776 vehicles and revoked 354 driving licenses.

The main violations include: 643 cases of not having a driver's license, 421 cases of not having a vehicle registration; 313 cases of exceeding the speed limit; 215 cases of violating alcohol concentration, 84 cases of carrying more people than the prescribed number; 14 cases of driving under the influence of drugs and 992 other violations.
