Nghe An: Responding to the 3rd Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2018

Implementing Plan No. 131-KH/BTCTW, dated March 19, 2018 of the Central Party Organizing Committee on organizing the 3rd National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) - 2018, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued a Plan to respond to participate in the award in the province.

Accordingly, the best press works will be selected to participate in the Central-level competition, and at the same time, collectives and individuals with many contributions to propaganda on Party building work and organizing the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award will be selected for the Provincial Party Committee to commend and reward.

The overarching theme of the “Golden Hammer and Sickle Award” is to focus on Party building, contributing to building a clean and strong Party; strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling ideological, moral, and lifestyle degradation, manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party; building a clean and strong grassroots Party organization; and improving the quality of cadres and Party members.

Building a streamlined, effective and efficient organizational apparatus of the entire political system; promoting the fight against corruption, waste and bureaucracy; "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", the new rural construction movement, the "skillful mass mobilization" movement, and patriotic emulation movements in the fields of economy, culture - society and national defense - security.

In addition to the topic of Party building in general, encourage topics that closely follow and deeply reflect the Party building tasks of the province, have correct ideological and political orientation; have the ability to discover new issues; have positive impacts on social life, bring practical social effects, contribute to promoting socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security.

Regarding the rules, it is implemented according to the Rules of the National Press Award on Party Building, issued with Plan No. 131-KH/BTCTW, dated March 19, 2018 of the Central Party Organizing Committee (units access the Party Building Magazine at: www.xavdungdang.org.vn or email: Bualiemvang @xaydungdang.vn to download documents).

The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee is the standing agency to preside over, develop a plan, coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Journalists Association, Nghe An Newspaper, and the Provincial Radio and Television Station to organize the Launching Ceremony and respond to the participation in the 2018 provincial competition.

Assign the target of 100% of units having works submitted to participate in the contest, and at the same time, each unit has at least 2 articles sent to be published and broadcast on the mass media of the province, unit and locality every month.
