(Baonghean.vn) - A group of workers were drilling rocks with a machine when a rock fell from a high mountain and hit one of the workers on the head, killing him.

Accordingly, at 9:00 a.m. on November 4, a group of workers were drilling rocks with a machine at the Hoang Mai quarry in Quynh Thien ward (Hoang Mai town). Mr. Ngo Van Viet (33 years old), residing in Tan Thanh block, Quynh Thien ward (Hoang Mai town), a worker at the mine belonging to the Vietnam Railway Corporation, died on the spot. The initial cause was that Mr. Viet had a work accident, due to a rock falling on his head.
Immediately after the accident, local leaders and the Company's Board of Directors were present at the scene with the authorities to investigate the cause of the above labor accident.
