Nghe An opens Covid-19 Information Portal

On the morning of September 17, Nghe An province held the opening ceremony of the provincial Covid-19 information portal and tested the online conference system down to the commune level.

In recent times, the Covid-19 epidemic has been complicated nationwide, including Nghe An. However, information on disease monitoring and management is still fragmented and manually managed; leading to difficulties for authorities at all levels to monitor and grasp the situation in order to promptly direct and handle it. People have difficulty accessing official information sources, and there are many cases of false information, causing confusion among the public.

In that situation, the Provincial People's Committee has directed relevant agencies and units to coordinate with Nghe An Telecommunications to build the Nghe An Province Covid-19 Information Portal. The system is provided through 2 platforms: Website:https://thongtincovid19.nghean.gov.vnand applications for smart devices on the Apple and Google LLC stores immediately after officially going into operation with the name: Nghe An NCOV.

The system provides many utilities with 10 layers of information data, displayed in general and in detail, such as: blockade points, control points, testing points, essential service points, medical treatment facilities, Covid treatment facilities, centralized quarantine points, checkpoints, pharmacies, blockade areas.

For management and task implementation agencies, the system will provide official information promptly reflecting the developments and situation of the epidemic in the province; serving the work of analysis, assessment, forecasting and decision-making; testing; vaccination; tracing, zoning, isolation, etc. Support the work of mobilizing and coordinating necessities to the right subjects. This information is continuously updated every day and presented visually on the map of Nghe An province, detailed to each commune, ward and town through data and reports of the Provincial Center for Disease Control and relevant agencies to the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
