Nghe An surveys to link and develop tourism with the North - South Central provinces
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to strengthen tourism promotion activities after the Covid-19 pandemic, from July 10-13, a delegation of Nghe An Department of Tourism led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department organized a survey, exchanged experiences, and strengthened cooperation in tourism development between Nghe An and the provinces of the North - South Central Coast.
Implementing tourism development cooperation programs between Nghe An and 14 provinces of the North - South Central Coast, in recent times, tourism products of the provinces of the North - South Central Coast (Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai...) have attracted a large number of visitors from Nghe An.

In addition, Nghe An province has actively promoted resort tourism, sea tourism, and eco-tourism products associated with the community, especially the programs "Traveling to the source" and "Journey to Uncle Ho's hometown", creating an impression and attracting the attention of people in the North - South Central provinces. This is also an opportunity for Nghe An and the North - South Central provinces to continue promoting joint activities to restore domestic tourism activities after the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the meeting with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai, the leaders of the two departments informed about the potential and tourism activities of the two localities, and proposed tourism cooperation contents in the coming time. Within the framework of the cooperation program, the parties agreed to continue exchanging information on destinations, industry planning, and coordinating the organization of Famtrip and Presstrip delegations to survey tourism products.

Implement linkages, exchange website banners, tourism promotion publications, participate in tourism activities organized by the parties in 2020. In particular, the affection between the two provinces of Nghe An - Quang Ngai, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh and Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, which has been nurtured from the North - South twinning movement between the Northern provinces and the Southern provinces during the resistance war against the US, will be increasingly developed through tourism linkage activities of the two localities.
During the working program, the delegation of Nghe An Department of Tourism signed a Cooperation Program with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province; surveyed, exchanged and shared experiences in developing tourism products in the provinces and cities of the North - South Central region (Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai). At the same time, worked with the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Association of Thua Thien - Hue and Da Nang to promote a number of cooperation activities in the coming time.
