In 2022, Catholics in Nghe An province have strived to overcome difficulties, boldly applied scientific and technological advances in production for high income, contributing to increased productivity and output. The average rice yield is estimated at 64.41 quintals/ha; corn yield is estimated at 49.31 quintals/ha. Agricultural, forestry, fishery, industrial and handicraft business activities, and services bring high income, contributing to job creation and income improvement for the people.

Carry out the economic development movement among the peopleCatholicThere are many models and examples of good production and business. The movement of joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas has been supported by priests, pastoral councils of parishes, sub-parishes and parishioners. In 2022, parishioners in the whole province donated 6,710 m² land, dismantled 2,943 m of surrounding wall, participated in more than 6,000 working days, contributed 6,289 billion VND, built 20 km of rural roads.

In the field of building cultural life, continuing to respond to the Campaign of All People Uniting to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas, the Catholic Solidarity Committees of districts, cities and towns have encouraged parishioners to effectively carry out the movement "Peaceful Parish". Movements to encourage learning and talent have received attention from the parishioners, charitable and humanitarian activities, environmental protection, and maintaining security and order have had many positive changes...

In 2023, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee will continue to coordinate and promote extensive propaganda work among Catholics about the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies. Closely coordinate with the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to strengthen close contact with the grassroots, encourage the Catholic community to effectively implement the Resolution of the 8th Congress of Catholics at all levels to build and defend the Fatherland; promote and effectively implement the movement of All people unite to buildnew rural, civilized city.

At the Conference, delegates exchanged opinions on the issue of implementing patriotic emulation movements; solidarity movements to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; improving the effectiveness of the Catholic Solidarity Committee's activities... At the same time, delegates were informed of the draft Regulations and assignment of tasks of the Standing Committee and members of the Catholic Solidarity Committee for the 2022-2027 term.

On this occasion, 6 groups and 11 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee for their many achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of Catholic compatriots./.
