(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An's commercial activities in the first 8 months of 2018 had a fairly good growth rate. Total retail sales of goods were estimated at over 35.4 trillion VND, up nearly 13% over the same period. Export turnover was estimated at 703 million USD, up 9.5%.

The export turnover of goods is estimated at 89 million USD, reaching 97% compared to August 2017. Of which, the export turnover of goods is estimated at 71 million USD, reaching 98.6% compared to August 2017.
Import turnover of goods is estimated at 65 million USD, an increase of over 10% compared to August 2017.
In general, in the first 8 months of 2018, total retail sales of goods were estimated at 35.4 trillion VND, up nearly 13% over the same period and reaching over 66% of the plan.

Total import turnover is estimated at 396 million USD, down 5.26%/same period and reaching 66%/plan.
Total import turnover decreased compared to the same period in 2017, due to the fact that some factories such as Hoa Sen Steel Plant, Nghi Thiet Grinding Station, Song Lam Cement... have been put into stable operation, so in 2018, the demand for imported machinery and equipment decreased./.
