Nghe An plans to conduct provincial defense area drills in 2021

This afternoon (November 9), at the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, a staff conference was held to deploy the 2021 provincial and district defense area exercise.

Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Police and Provincial Border Guard.

Accordingly, preparation work is deployed synchronously at all levels; the preparation process regularly follows the direction of the Military Region and the Provincial Party Committee;Ministry of Military AffairsThe province promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents to lead and direct the exercise tasks on schedule and in accordance with regulations.

With the efforts of the Military, Police, and Border Guard agencies, up to this point, preparations for the 2021 provincial defense zone exercise are basically following the set plan.

Also at the conference, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to perfect the ideas and build a drill plan to ensure it is close to the actual situation, contributing to raising the sense of responsibility, advisory capacity, and leadership capacity of the provincial Party Committee, government, and armed forces.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: This exercise is of utmost importance in order to effectively implement Resolution No. 28 of the Politburo on continuing to build provinces and centrally-run cities into solid, interconnected defense zones in the new situation. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to foster and learn both theory and practice of national defense and security knowledge; to assess the leadership, direction and implementation capacity of Party committees, local authorities and forces in the provincial defense zone.

The commander of the provincial Military Command requested that the sectors clearly identify the meaning and importance of the exercise to lead and direct their agencies and units, promptly do a good job of preparing to organize and carry out the exercise with good results, ensuring absolute safety.
