Nghe An: Heavy rain causes flash floods, washing away a 650 million VND bridge in Nhon Mai commune
The flash flood that occurred at noon on July 22 in Nhon Mai commune, Nghe An province not only swept away houses and collapsed roads but also swept away a bridge for people. That bridge was sponsored by the Nhon Mai Border Guard Station through a call for donations.
At about 4:00 p.m. on July 22, after about 4 hours of flash floods in Nhon Mai commune, Nghe An province, many houses, fields, roads, and an iron bridge across Khe Hy were also swept away by floodwaters.

This is a community bridge sponsored by businesses through the connection and appeal of the Nhon Mai Border Guard Station officers. The iron bridge is 56m long, 3.6m wide, with a total cost of 650 million VND, built in 2023.

This bridge has helped overcome the hardship, danger and separation in traveling for people and students to school during the flood season.
