During the production process, although the facility had a wastewater drainage system, at the time of inspection, Dien Chau District Police discovered that the facility discharged a large amount of wastewater directly into the environment outside the facility's perimeter, on the land area managed and used by another household (about 50m from the asphalt road).
This is a chemical released during the steel production process. There is a high possibility that untreated wastewater containing corrosive acids has been discharged into the environment, seeping into the ground, causing pollution and possibly harming human health.
