Nghe An: Blockade areas with Covid-19 infections in the community

On the afternoon of December 2, Nghe An recorded 38 new Covid-19 infections, including 5 community cases (Vinh City: 02, Quy Chau: 01, Hung Nguyen: 01, Dien Chau: 01)

InVinh City, 2 Covid-19 cases residing in Hung Dung ward. The locality has locked down the residences of the 2 patients with 5 households, 12 people in Van Trung block and 3 households, 10 people in Xuan Dong block.

It is known that patient NTL in Van Trung block works as a rice miller and sells rice at home, while patient NTY in Xuan Dong block sells at Vinh market. Currently, the authorities are tracing F1s who have come into contact with these two patients. In the immediate future, with the motto "Wide isolation - narrow blockade", Hung Dung ward has taken samples for testing for about 150 people on the afternoon of December 2.

InQuy Chau district, the patient lives in Hoa Tien 2 village, Chau Tien commune. The locality has locked down the patient's living area. It is known that this case has a very complicated epidemiology, working as a trader of agricultural products. Currently, the locality has traced 31 F1 related to the patient. Of which, 18 F2 in contact with the patient's child (F1) also tested positive.

InHung Nguyen district, the patient lives in Hamlet 9, Chau Nhan Commune. Due to his old age, the patient has not moved much and has not had many contacts, so only a few F1s are family members. However, among the cases in contact with the patient, his wife and grandchild were tested quickly on the afternoon of December 2 and tested positive for Covid-19.

InDien Chau district, a Covid-19 patient residing in Phu Lam hamlet, Minh Chau commune. The locality has currently locked down the patient's living area with about 20 households. It is known that the patient has a very complicated epidemiological history, recently attended a party cell meeting in the hamlet, in addition, the patient often has the habit of taking his grandchildren to play with families in the hamlet. Therefore, the number of F1 contacts is very large. The patient has many underlying diseases, so in the past, he did not meet the health conditions to receive the vaccine.

1. NTL, female, born in 1963. Address: Van Trung Block, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City. On November 29, the patient had symptoms of fatigue and cough. She bought medicine to take but it did not help. On December 2, the patient went to the health station for examination and was tested for a rapid test with a suspicious result. After that, the patient's sample was sent to the CDC with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. BN NTY, female, born in 1982. Address: Xuan Dong Block, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City. On November 30, the patient had symptoms of sneezing and runny nose. On the morning of December 2, the patient went to Hung Dung Medical Center for examination and was tested rapidly with suspicious results. After that, the patient's sample was sent to the CDC, and on the afternoon of December 2, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. QTH patient, female, born in 1986. Address: Hoa Tien 2 Village, Chau Tien Commune, Quy Chau District. On December 1, the patient had symptoms of a sore throat and went to Quy Chau District Medical Center for examination and had a rapid test sample taken with a suspicious result. After that, the patient's sample was sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. NTC Patient, male, born in 1945. Address: Hamlet 9, Chau Nhan Commune, Hung Nguyen District. On the morning of December 2, the patient came to the Trauma Surgery Clinic, Vinh City General Hospital. The patient made a medical declaration and was tested for a rapid test with a suspicious result. After that, the patient was sampled by RT-PCR with a result confirming positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. HTH patient, male, born in 1951. Address: Phu Lam Hamlet, Minh Chau Commune, Dien Chau District. The patient was treated at the Internal Medicine Department, Dien Chau General Hospital from November 13 to November 23. On December 1, the patient had symptoms of fever, cough, and sore throat, so he went to the commune health station for examination and was tested rapidly with suspicious results. After that, the patient's sample was sent to Vinh City General Hospital with results confirming positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
