Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Also attending were Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Ho Phuc Hop - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Phan Duc Dong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department and representatives of the leaders of the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee's Office.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Le Quoc Khanh said that one of the key tasks in the fourth quarter chaired by the Organization Board is to advise on regulations on title standards and evaluation criteria for cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee.

On August 4, 2017, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong signed and issued Regulation No. 89-QD/TW of the Politburo stipulating the framework of title standards and orientation of the framework of criteria for evaluating leaders and managers at all levels; Regulation No. 90-QD/TW on title standards and criteria for evaluating officials under the management of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat.

At the meeting, leaders of Party committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office also reviewed the implementation of tasks in the third quarter and discussed key contents in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong agreed and highly agreed with the assessment of the implementation of tasks in the third quarter, as well as the planned key plan for the remaining quarter, especially acknowledging the professional work of each committee, the coordination of the Party committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that the departments and the Provincial Party Committee Office continue to strengthen coordination, especially in information in performing the tasks of each department to better fulfill the assigned tasks.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son assessed that the departments and the Provincial Party Committee Office advising the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee are increasingly of good quality.

Assessing the implementation of the 2017 targets, there were both advantages and difficulties. Therefore, in order to achieve the set goals in all aspects, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: "The spirit is that we must make more efforts so that by the end of the year, the Provincial Party Committee's committees and Office will complete the plan well and contribute to the development of the province."

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son agreed on the tasks for the fourth quarter of 2017 set out by the departments and the Provincial Party Committee Office; at the same time, he requested to review the 2017 programs and plans of each department and the Provincial Party Committee Office to be determined to complete and prepare for the 2018 plan.

In particular, he requested to step up information and propaganda work, especially on major anniversaries, to encourage the emulation movement to develop the socio-economy, build the Party and the political system; and fight against distorted and reactionary arguments.

The Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office also need to continue to effectively implement the directives and resolutions of the Central and the province, especially the Central Resolution 4 (term XII) and Directive 05 on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; focus on implementing personnel work, consolidating the political system in special regions.

According to the functions of the committees, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son proposed to strengthen inspection and supervision work in the following areas: anti-corruption; promoting the resolution of complicated and prolonged cases; implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII); economic management, practicing thrift, fighting waste; personnel work, implementing working regulations; detecting and being proactive in inspecting and supervising violating officials; paying attention to, grasping the situation and resolving petitions; continuing to lead and direct the implementation of democratic regulations, regulations on contact and dialogue with the people;...

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son also requested the committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office to continue to effectively carry out advisory work to ensure political security and social order and safety.
