At the meeting, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approve the policy of Nghe An province to supplement scholarships and direct the organization of teaching of the High School Education Program for Lao students studying in Nghe An, expected to start from the 2023-2024 school year, about 120 students per school year.

The subjects are junior high school graduates selected from Lao provinces sharing a border with Nghe An province to study Vietnamese at Nghe An Pedagogical College for one academic year.

Then, select students with English proficiency to study the advanced high school education program following the international integration trend at Nghe An Pedagogical Practice School (expected to be one class per school year) and the remaining students will study the high school education program in Nghe An.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has highly agreed with this proposal, according to which in addition to receiving students from the three Lao provinces that share the border, namely Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang, and Bo Ly Kham Xay, it is necessary to study and add students from provinces with cooperative relationships such as Vientiane, Khammouane, Savannakhet, and Xay Som Boon.
