Leading to the Provincial People's Committee assigningPeople's Committee of Cua Lo towndirected Cua Lo Port to implement solutions to reduce environmental pollution at Cua Lo Port because the production and business activities of this unit affect the environment. Previously, at the end of March 2024, a group of residents in Block 2-3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town submitted a petition to the authorities, requesting a solution.

Carrying out the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committee of Cua Lo town has coordinated with Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Maritime Port Authority and Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Border Guard Station to develop a coordination regulation to resolve environmental pollution; on the part of Cua Lo Port, a number of measures have been taken to reduce environmental pollution, and plans have been made to relocate ores from the wharf near residential areas of Block 2 - 3, Nghi Tan Ward.
