Nghe An establishes working group to evaluate anti-corruption work
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 809/QD-UBND dated April 3, 2024 on the establishment of a Working Group to evaluate anti-corruption work.
The working group consists of 25 members led by Mr. Chu The Huyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the province.
The working group has the following tasks:
- Collect documents, synthesize data as evidence for assessment, prepare assessment records; conduct self-assessment by scoring according to the set of indicators and guidelines for assessing anti-corruption work at the provincial level in 2023 issued by the Government Inspectorate.
- Advise on the draft Report on the assessment of anti-corruption work at the provincial level in 2023; submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for approval and report to the Government Inspectorate.
- Coordinate, explain, and provide documents to clarify as requested by the Government Inspectorate during the verification process.
Previously, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 171/KH-UBND dated March 8, 2024 to evaluate anti-corruption work in 2023..The purpose is to evaluate the implementation of anti-corruption work in Nghe An province in 2023 according to the provisions of the 2018 Law on Anti-Corruption and guiding documents; ensure objective, scientific, economical, effective and adequate assessment of resources in anti-corruption work of the province and localities and units.
The Provincial People's Committee requires the assessment to be based on the set of indicators and guidance documents for assessing anti-corruption work for provincial-level People's Committees in 2023 issued by the Government Inspectorate; each assessment content requires specific data and supporting documents.
According to the "Set of Evaluation Indexes and Guidelines for Evaluation of Provincial Anti-Corruption Work" issued by the Government Inspector General in Decision No. 157/QD-TTCP dated April 14, 2023, the total score of the evaluation criteria is 100 points.
Part A: Criteria for evaluating leadership, direction, development and completion of policies and laws on anti-corruption (20 points); Part B: Criteria for evaluating the implementation of anti-corruption measures (30 points); Part C: Criteria for evaluating the detection and handling of corruption (40 points); Part D: Criteria for evaluating the recovery of corrupt money and assets (10 points).
