Nghe An: 4,300 new businesses established
(Baonghean.vn) - From 2016 to now, Nghe An enterprises have grown strongly in both quantity and scale (ranked 2nd in the North Central region, after Thanh Hoa province).
Specifically, Nghe An has 4,302 newly established enterprises with registered capital of VND23,105.8 billion.

The number of enterprises increased rapidly, the registered capital increased by 33.17% over the same period. Compared to the 5-year plan target of 2016 - 2020, Nghe An reached 66.18% in the number of newly established enterprises and 78.06% in registered capital.The average registered capital per enterprise reached 5.37 billion VND, an increase of 17.6% compared to the period 2013 - 2015.
By August 2018, Nghe An had over 18,700 registered enterprises/target 20,0000 enterprises in 2020. Of which, 60 - 70% of registered enterprises are still operating, many temporarily suspended enterprises have returned to operation; creating jobs for 35,000 - 37,000 people/year, budget revenue from enterprise activities is 55 - 60% of total provincial budget revenue.
