Nghe An: Highlights of December 14th

* The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Nguyen Duc Trung, has just signed Decision No. 3025-QD/TU dated December 9, 2024, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee.Establishment of the (new) Vinh City Party Committee.
Accordingly, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee decided to establish the (new) Vinh City Party Committee by merging 77 grassroots party organizations under the Vinh City Party Committee, 48 grassroots party organizations under the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, and 7 grassroots party organizations under the Nghi Loc District Party Committee.
*Dien Chau District will hold a ceremony to launch 5 new administrative units.It includes the communes of Ngoc Bich, Hung Hai, Xuan Thap, Hanh Quang and the town of Dien Thanh.
According to Resolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated October 24, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, effective from December 1, 2024, Dien Chau district will reorganize 10 communes and towns during the 2023-2025 period.

According to the leaders of Muong Tip commune People's Committee, the Vang Phao resettlement area was built more than 4km away from the houses of the people in Vang Phao village.
The reason is that, since 2018, cracks have appeared in the mountain in Muong Tip commune, threatening landslides and the collapse of the mountainside, posing a potential risk to the lives and property of households in Vang Phao village.
