Nghe An: Highlights of January 16th
Central and provincial leaders of Nghe An presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families and poor households in various localities; the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee worked with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level political and social organizations; for the first time, a unit was fined for not displaying "no smoking" signs; and house cleaning services in Nghe An are in high demand as Tet approaches… These are some of the prominent news items on January 16th.
* January 16th,Comrade Phan Dinh Trac- A member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission visited and presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families and poor households in Luong Minh commune (Tuong Duong district) and some policy beneficiary families and poor households in Dien Chau district.
* On the morning of January 16th,Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu- The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired a working session with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level political and social organizations on the results of task implementation in the fourth quarter of 2024 and the orientation of tasks for the first quarter of 2025.

*For the first time, an organization has been fined for failing to display "no smoking" signs.This information was presented at the concluding conference of the project "Enhancing provincial-level coordination capacity in monitoring and enforcing the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harm for a smoke-free Vietnam" in Nghe An, organized by the Nghe An Department of Health on the morning of January 16th.
