Fifty-five years ago, at 9:47 AM on September 2nd, 1969 (corresponding to July 21st of the Year of the Rooster), our beloved Uncle Ho passed away. The Vietnamese nation lost a brilliant communist fighter who tirelessly dedicated his life to the revolutionary movement.
The commemoration ceremony on the 55th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's death is a very special occasion to remember him, to recall his life, career, achievements, and immense contributions to the country and homeland; it is also an opportunity to continue reminding each person to better fulfill his sacred testament.
* On the morning of August 24th, Comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - visitedvisiting and encouragingTwo officials from the Nghi Loc District Protective Forest Management Board suffered severe burns while participating in forest fire fighting. Accompanying them were Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and other leaders from the Department and the Forest Protection Sub-Department.
Earlier, at noon on August 23, a fire broke out in the pine forest area of Hamlet 14, Nghi Tien Commune, Nghi Loc District.
During the firefighting operation, two officials from the Nghi Loc District Protective Forest Management Board suffered severe burns and were taken to the Nghe An Provincial Friendship General Hospital for emergency treatment.
* On the morning of August 24th, the Economic and Budget Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council held a meeting.meeting to review draft resolutionsRegarding socio-economic issues, these will be presented at the 22nd session (special session) of the 18th term, 2021-2026, scheduled to be held on August 29, 2024.
Reviewing the draft resolution on piloting the decentralization mechanism in the management and implementation of national target programs for the period 2024-2025, the meeting participants unanimously agreed to submit this resolution to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval at a specialized session. They also provided feedback on several related issues concerning the scope of application, the selection of districts for piloting the decentralization mechanism, and the content of decentralization and implementation.
