Nghe An hosts exhibition honoring Vietnamese heritage

As planned, the exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam" will take place from November 22 to 26 in Vinh city, Nghe An.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 7142/UBND-VX on coordinating the organization of the Exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam". The exhibition is chaired and coordinated by the Vietnam Center for Exhibition of Culture and Arts.Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, together with related units organized.

As planned, the Exhibition is expected to take place from November 22 to 26, 2024 in Vinh city, at 3 locations: Ho Tung Mau walking street, Provincial Cultural Center, Nghe An Museum.

The exhibition "Colors of Vietnam's cultural and natural heritage" will introduce to Nghe An people and tourists some special displays:

Exhibition "The concern of President Ho Chi Minh, Party and State leaders for national cultural heritage";

Photo exhibition "Historical - cultural relics, scenic spots of Vietnam";

Exhibition "Characteristics of cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups";

Exhibition "Uncle Ho's poems on calligraphy lotus" introduces some poems of President Ho Chi Minh on calligraphy lotus.

Along with that, in the common space of the exhibition there will be a space for Vietnamese tea culture, a performance of light sculpture art, and an exhibition of "Vietnamese Ao Dai".

In particular, at Ho Tung Mau walking street space, there will be an exhibition of "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products" of 25 provinces and cities; including: Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho City, An Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu.

Coming to this exhibition space in the premises of Ho Tung Mau Walking Street, visitors will be introduced to the beauty of cultural and natural heritages, typical landscapes of 25 provinces/cities participating in the exhibition; popular destinations for tourists; unique features of community activities; promoting the potential of eco-tourism, sustainable tourism in the locality along with typical traditional handicrafts, culinary arts, local products...

Also within the framework of the exhibition, there will be a Vietnam Handicraft Product Competition 2024; a space to display prize-winning handicraft products, a space to honor and promote typical OCOP products nationwide, and high-quality products serving consumer life.

Along with that is the cultural and artistic exchange program, the traditional folk art festival "Vietnam - heritage colors".

The exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicrafts of Vietnam" is a cultural activity to celebrate Vietnam Heritage Day (November 23). Through the activities at the exhibition, it contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of the community, especially the young generation, in preserving and promoting the value of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, natural heritage; arousing love for the homeland, country, national pride in the long-standing culture, rich in identity that has been crystallized and continued through many generations, striving to build an increasingly rich and beautiful Vietnam.
