Nghe An: Highlights on December 25

*COn the afternoon of December 25, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held its regular meeting for December 2020. At the meeting, chaired by comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee discussed the work program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2021.

The conference was attended by Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The conference aimed to evaluate the results of the implementation of national defense and security tasks in 2020 and to propose key solutions to carry out tasks in 2021. On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defense presented 7 leaders and former leaders of Nghe An province with the "For the cause of building the Vietnam People's Army" Commemorative Medal. 14 collectives and 14 individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in national defense and security work in 2020.

*SOn December 25, the Steering Committee for Democracy Regulations (QCDC) of Nghe An province held a meeting to evaluate the results of building andimplement basic QCDC2020 and implementing the 2021 plan.

At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee contributed opinions on the inspection of implementation and pointed out limitations in the implementation of grassroots QCDC; issues related to administrative reform in the implementation of grassroots QCDC;... Accordingly, in 2020, despite many difficulties, thanks to the correct management and leadership, and good implementation of grassroots QCDC, many good results were achieved in all fields, and people's trust was increasingly enhanced.

The conference emphasized that, entering 2021, the implementation of grassroots QCDC must be associated with the effective implementation of the action program to implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; fully and effectively implementing the Resolutions, Decisions, Directives, and Conclusions of the Politburo, the Government, etc.

*SAfter winning the 2020 National U17 Football Championship with the Song Lam Nghe An U17 team,Coach Pham Van Quyenwill continue to accompany this generation of players to participate in the 2021 National U19 Tournament Qualifiers as assistant coach.

This year, U19 SLNA is led by head coach Pham Bui Minh and assistants: Dinh Van Dung, Le Ky Phuong, Pham Van Quyen, Le Ky Dai and Tran Quang Dung.
