Nghe An: Highlights on July 25

* July 18, 2023,The Politburo issued Resolution 39-NQ/TWon construction and development of Nghe An to 2030, vision to 2045.

The goal by 2030 is that Nghe An will be a fairly developed province in the country, with a fast and sustainable economic development, imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnam and Nghe An; a center of the North Central region in terms of trade, logistics, healthcare, education and training, science and technology, industry and high-tech agriculture; with a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, capable of effectively responding and adapting to natural disasters and climate change; the material and spiritual life of the people will be constantly improved; the value of the ecosystem of forests, seas, islands, culture, history and traditions, especially Nghe An culture, will be preserved and promoted; national defense, security and sovereignty over borders, seas and islands will be firmly ensured; the Party organization and political system will be clean and strong; the strength of the great national unity bloc and the people's trust in the Party and State will be enhanced.

By 2045, Nghe An will be a province with rapid, sustainable, comprehensive, civilized and modern development, imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnam and Nghe An; one of the driving forces for development of the North Central region...

* On the morning of July 25, the Nghe An Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations held the 8th Executive Committee Conference toSummary of people's foreign affairs workFirst 6 months of the year and discuss some other key tasks.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Nghe An province emphasized the role of people's foreign affairs and raised the requirement to continue to improve both breadth and depth, contributing to the foreign affairs of the Party and State for the goal of promoting the common development of the province.

* On the afternoon of July 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung chairedRegular meeting of the Provincial People's CommitteeJuly 2023. The meeting focused on discussing the socio-economic situation and the implementation of the state budget estimate in July and the first 7 months of the year.

At the meeting, leaders of departments, branches and sectors reported on the results of implementing tasks in the management field; including reporting and clarifying the results and reasons for the low disbursement rate of capital for the 3 National Target Programs...

Emphasizing the tasks and solutions in August and the following period, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested that the sectors continue to focus on reviewing, detecting and promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles for enterprises' production and business activities in a proactive spirit. Because the difficulties and obstacles of enterprises are also the difficulties and obstacles of the province, this is essentially a solution for the province, aiming to promote production and business development, contributing to the growth rate of the province.

The most important task is to immediately implement the contents of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; in which, coordinate with central ministries and branches to develop the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 39; at the same time, develop the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 39.

At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee exchanged and contributed ideas to ensure the progress of the implementation of the Plan for the meeting and dialogue program between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and heads of Party committees and authorities of communes, wards and towns in the province in 2023.
