Of which, domestic revenue: 1,300 billion VND, reaching 8.9% of the estimate and equal to 74.9% compared to the same period in 2022. Excluding land use fees and lottery fees, domestic revenue reached 908 billion VND, reaching 8.2% of the estimate and equal to 71.9% of the same period in 2022. Revenue from import-export activities was 80 billion VND, reaching 6.4% of the estimate and equal to 23.3% compared to the same period in 2022. Vinh city's budget revenue in January reached 375 billion VND, reaching 19% of the estimate in 2023.

Thus, the estimated budget collection in January 2022 met the progress assigned by the Provincial People's Council (according to the progress of 8.3%). Some revenue items were lower than those in 2022, due to the Lunar New Year in January 2023; the real estate market cooled down, and there were no unusual revenue increases like in 2022.
Regarding budget expenditure, the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council is 33,162 billion VND. Local budget expenditure in January 2023 is estimated at 1,918 billion VND, reaching 5.8% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Regular expenditure in January 2023 mainly focuses on salary and salary-related expenses, ensuring regular activities of agencies, units, and public services.

In January, the Department of Finance completed the notification, allocation and assignment of budget estimates to state management agencies, provincial-level public service units and budget-using units in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 130/2005/ND-CP, Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP of the Government and related documents.
