Nghe An continues to support nearly 26 billion VND for more than 16,000 workers facing difficulties due to the pandemic

According to Decision No. 521/QD-UBND dated March 3, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee resolves funding to implement a number ofsupport policyfor 16,201 people facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic according to the provisions of Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg dated July 7, 2021 of the Prime Minister with a total amount of VND 25,873,505,000.

Specifically: The Provincial People's Committee decided to support 344 workers who temporarily suspended their labor contracts and took unpaid leave with an amount of VND 1,276,785,000; support 7,634 workers who stopped working with an amount of VND 13,811,000,000; support 7,840 children andpeople being treated for COVID-19, medical isolation with the amount of 9,753,800,000 VND.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also decided to support 2 tour guides with an amount of VND 7,420,000; support 302 business households with an amount of VND 906,000,000; support 79 workers without labor contracts, special subjects according to Decision No. 22/2021/QD-UBND dated August 9, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee with an amount of VND 118,500,000,000.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Vinh City and the People's Committees of districts and towns: Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Quy Chau, Con Cuong, Cua Lo, Thai Hoa, Hoang Mai to use the district and commune budget reserve fund in the amount of VND 3,879,914,000 to pay support policies for the above subjects; advance paymentprovincial budgetThe amount of nearly 21,993,591,000 VND was granted to agencies and units to pay support policies for the above subjects.
