Nghe An organizes scientific conference on tuberculosis and lung diseases
On the morning of March 28, Nghe An Lung Hospital and Nghe An Department of Health organized the first Nghe An Expanded Scientific Conference on Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in 2025 and the Ceremony to respond to the Month of Action for Tuberculosis Prevention and Control in 2025.

This conference is of great significance, being one of the scientific bases that contribute to the development of Nghe An Lung Hospital into a specialized respiratory hospital in the North Central region by 2030.
At the conference, Dr. Dinh Van Luong - Director of the Central Lung Hospital, Head of the Executive Board of the National Tuberculosis Control Program, clearly stated the theme of World Tuberculosis Day (March 24) in 2025 in Vietnam as "Vietnam commits, invests, and acts to end tuberculosis". At the same time, he highlighted the positive results and difficulties and challenges in tuberculosis prevention and control in our country today.

The Head of the Executive Board of the National Tuberculosis Control Program suggested: All levels and sectors need to continue to effectively implement Official Dispatch No. 25/CD-TTg dated March 25, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening tuberculosis prevention and control; effectively deploy advanced technical solutions, proactively detect and manage tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis patients; strengthen health education and communication; ensure resources for tuberculosis prevention and control; promote scientific research, international cooperation, and widely apply technical advances in tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment.
