On the morning of January 9, the Provincial Military Command held a conference on career counseling and job introduction for soldiers discharged from the army in 2023. Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; Provincial Employment Service Center; Enterprises and vocational schools in the province; and a large number of soldiers discharged in 2023.

Every year, Nghe An has nearly 3 thousand soldiers demobilized and returning to their locality. The demobilized soldiers have good political qualities and a good sense of organization and discipline. Many comrades have university, college and intermediate degrees. This is a very important human resource for local construction and development.

Over the past years, Nghe An province has had specific leadership and direction in connecting with training facilities, units, and businesses to provide consultation, training, and introduce stable jobs suitable for demobilized soldiers.

From 2020 to 2022, Nghe An Employment Service Center coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Military Command and Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts, cities and towns to organize many programs and job fairs to promote job orientation and vocational training for demobilized soldiers.

Specifically: The whole province has organized 12 programs and joint job counseling sessions, with the participation of 28 enterprises; 4,475 workers and demobilized soldiers participated in the counseling sessions; 696 people were counseled and introduced to vocational training; 1,150 people were counseled and introduced to domestic jobs and 311 people were counseled and introduced to foreign jobs.

At the conference, job consulting units, vocational schools and labor export enterprises had the opportunity to exchange official information on employment, creating opportunities for job search and vocational training for soldiers discharged in 2023. All levels and sectors also grasped the thoughts and aspirations of soldiers discharged from the army and provided timely guidance, helping them make appropriate choices for themselves to continue studying and working after discharge.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Dinh Bat Van proposed: The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs directs the Nghe An Provincial Employment Service Center to assess enterprises in Nghe An province that are qualified and have the need to recruit, train and arrange suitable jobs for demobilized soldiers, ensure good income and favorable conditions for workers, and conduct job counseling for demobilized soldiers in 2023.

The provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has done a good job of advising the Provincial People's Committee on policies to support demobilized soldiers to be accepted into enterprises in Nghe An to ensure the source of reserve officers and reserve training resources.

Demobilized soldiers always promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the traditions of Nghe An province's armed forces, the traditions of their units, and the professional knowledge learned in the Army to contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland./.
